Kah is in the best form of her career and boasts a strike rate of more than 20 per cent and one of the highest in the country.
The 24-year-old is enjoying a breakout season to lead the Victorian metropolitan jockey premiership with 28 wins and more than 4.5-million in prizemoney.
She leads champion hoop Damien Oliver by nine wins in the title race.
Kah finished third in the Melbourne Cup aboard Prince Of Arran.
She capped an outstanding spring carnival with a winning treble at Sandown last Saturday, including the Zipping Classic aboard Sound.
O'Prey said it was a huge coup not only for his stable but for the race club to secure one of the hottest jockeys in the country for the cup meeting.
"It was a big thrill when Jamie committed to riding at the meeting," O'Prey said.
"Not only for my stable but for the club to be able to get a jockey of her calibre and the sort of form that she is in.
"Some good judges rate her the best female jockey in the world at the moment.
"Hopefully it pays dividends and she can add her name to the honour roll."

Strome is expected to be among the leading fancies in the $100,000 feature.
A recent addition to O'Prey's stable, Strome is raced by prominent local owner and breeder Reg Ryan.
The six-year-old mare underlined her Gold Cup credentials with an impressive Caulfield victory with Kah aboard last month.
"Jamie has had two previous rides on Strome for a win and a fourth and was keen to stick with her in the cup," he said.
"Fingers crossed we haven't gone to the well one too many times with her because she is at the end of her preparation.
"But being the hometown cup, I wanted to have a crack."
