Garoni made 75 of Yackandandah's 176 runs at Bethanga Recreation Reserve, while the home team fell just short with nine out for 172 after 40 overs.
Yackandandah captain Bailey Glass praised the batsmen for his exceptional form this season, racking up over 70 runs for two consecutive weeks.
"He's a key man," Glass said.
"If he makes runs, then we make runs.
"He's a class above."

Jack Robinson put the pressure on the victors making 72 not out and taking two wickets.
"He (Robinson) is obviously a classy cricketer," Glass said.
"They had the heat on us for most of the day."
Yackandandah's Mason Walker took three wickets, while Bethanga's Greg Bohun racked up two.
In other District cricket games on the weekend, reigning premiers Kiewa were stunned by Baranduda.
The visitors chased down Kiewa's total of 119, with three wickets coming from Baranduda's Zach Leach.
Ladder leaders Mt Beauty were too classy for Eskdale at Eskdale.
Barnawartha/Chiltern were too strong for Dederang despite four wickets from captain Andrew Creamer.
