TWILIGHT or night matches will be played across the opening six weeks of next year's Ovens and Murray season. A total of seven twilight and five night matches have been scheduled in the draw which was released on Friday. Albury, Wangaratta Rovers and Wodonga will host their first twilight/night games with Myrtleford to host its third night fixture. A general bye has been fixtured on May 22 for a possible Interleague clash with the Goulburn Valley. The draw also provides two split rounds over two weeks in rounds 11 and 15. IN OTHER SPORT NEWS: League general manager Sean Barrett said the draw offers positives for each club. "It's important to provide a fixture that offers positives for every club and I'm confident we've been able to deliver that for 2021," Barrett said. The season starts on March 27 with Albury hosting Yarrawonga.
