Scott has not ridden at the races since the Albury meeting on November 6 but had enjoyed a successful comeback to the riding ranks with 12 winners since returning in March.
Scott, who is the partner of leading jockey Blaike McDougall, is keen to spend more time with their two children.
Albury trainer Donna Scott, Danielle's mum, said she still performs a great role at her stable when not race riding.
"Its been tough, riding at a few places with two little kids and Blaike's away," Donna said.
"I should be the grandmother staying at home but I'm at the races and it's the great grandmother staying there.
"Danielle likes (race riding) but she doesn't live and breath it and she does all the office work."
