Firefighters have issued warnings to residents to be aware of grass curing and the heavy fuel loads left by a good harvest after battling four fires in the region in just two days.

A shed containing about 100 bales of hay has gone up in smoke this afternoon as dozens of firefighting crews battled to contain a Walla blaze.
A Yarrawonga grass fire has also been brought under control by Country Fire Authority firefighters.
The CFA have warned smoke will remain visible in the area of Dowlings and Carmichael roads and emergency services are on scene.
Rural Fire Service district officer Aaron Powell said it was uncertain whether the Walla fire was started by an electrical fault or combustion of the hay itself with the origin point of the fire not yet known.
He said firefighters were called to the scene at 1.20pm but have managed to get the fire under control.

Mr Powell said crews would remain at the Wattlevale Road property overnight and throughout Friday morning to pull the hay out of the shed and extinguish it fully.
He said residents can expect to see smoke throughout the evening as the hay is pulled from the shed.
Mr Powell said in general farmers and residents should be aware grasses are now curing and need to have a heightened fire alertness heading into the height of summer.
Rural Fire Service district assistant Shai Feuerherdt said at 4.20pm on Thursday crews were called to a fire about six kilometres south of Culcairn, near Lowes Road.
He said firefighters have also recently battles blazes in Berrigan and Tocumwal sparked in paddocks.
"People need to be aware of fire danger ratings, weather conditions and fuel loading in areas," he said.
"People are out there stripping three tonnes of crops and there's at least six tonnes of fuel underneath it."
