Dancing with the Stars' winner Jarryd Byrne visited Lavington's Holy Spirit School last week where he taught students some new moves.
After taking out season 17 of the reality television show earlier this year alongside comedian Celia Pacquola, Byrne had planned to complete a regional mirror ball tour with his dance company FIT2MOVE.
With the COVID-19 pandemic derailing his plans, the professional dancer now aims to visit schools in Victoria, NSW and Queensland next year, with the famous trophy in hand.
Originally from Wagga, Byrne said he enjoys giving back to regional communities.
"I've been really lucky in my career," he said.
"To be able to bring back the information and expertise that I have and try to influence the next generation is great.
"It doesn't have to be dancing, it could be anything in sport, but just to show that in a country town you do have the resources.
"You can't dream too big."

His visit to Holy Spirit School was an extra special one, with his daughters Isobel, 5, and Indi, 7, attending the school.
The kinder and year 1 students both dance at Albury's Le Beat Dance Academy and agreed they like having their dad teach lessons for their classmates.
The sisters have also had the opportunity to visit their dad on the set of the long-running Australian reality show.
"The girls have been able to come down every year," Byrne said.
"During the rehearsals they'll sit at the judges desk and go backstage and try on the costumes.
"It's always great to have them there and for them to see that."
Byrne has completed five seasons on the show and has partnered celebrities Jacinta Franklin, Olympia Valance, Ricki-Lee Coulter and Ash Pollard during that time.
This year marked the first time he's been crowned winner of the competition, in what could have been the show's last season.
The winning duo edged out television presenter Christian Wilkins and his dance partner Lily Cornish to be the last couple left standing.
"To get the win with Celia this year was just incredible," he said.
Byrne is now looking forward to a busy 2021.
"I'm grateful to get back to rural communities and get kids dancing," he said.
