Ben Douglass has been instrumental in the Sharks' lofty standing and once again played a starring role in his side's win on Sunday.
Douglass chipped in with five goals and found plenty of support from teenager Joshua Gould.
Trent Remington and Tyson Mutsch both scored two goals for Northside.
Pool Pirates thumped Albury 10-1.
After springing an upset against Northside the previous week, the Pirates dominated through the work rate of Steven Sloan and Tom Hawkesworth.
