A 31-year-old Barnawartha North man has been interviewed by Major Collision Investigation Unit detectives and released pending further enquiries after the death of a 2-year-old boy in a collision at Barnawartha North on Christmas Day.

Investigators were told the 2-year-old passenger was thrown from an ATV at around 11:50am.
The vehicle was being driven on a private property on Moss Road when the crash occurred.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The boy was trapped underneath the ATV before witnesses freed him and performed CPR.
The driver has been assisting police with inquiries, with the exact cause of the crash still to be determined.
