Coen Ainsworth, Hugh Black, Mitchell Hack and Caleb Wharepapa have all impressed in the early phases of the boys program, while Mia Puntorierio was the region's lone girl to make it to the second stage.
Wangaratta's Cooper Newton, Yarrawonga's Lochlin Harvey and Myrtleford's Levi Young remain in contention in the boys.
Stage two trials will be held at Bendigo on January 16 for under-16s and January 17 for under-18s.
ALSO IN SPORT:
The trials also include selection tryouts for 2021 Victoria Country under-18 teams due to the compressed schedule for the state's return to sport.
Meanwhile, former Wodonga junior Sienna Harvey, who recently moved to Geelong, has earned a 2020-2021 Victorian national performance pathway scholarship.
Wangaratta's Tom Briggs was also successful.
