Service Victoria clarified residents who have travelled beyond the bubble on the NSW side of the border in the last 14 days will not be allowed entry into Victoria, even if they just wish to travel to Wodonga.
Currently, the NSW border zone includes Albury City, Balranald, Bega Valley, Berrigan, Broken Hill, Edward River, Federation, Greater Hume, Hay, Lockhart, Murray River, Murrumbidgee, Snowy Monaro, Snowy Valleys, Wagga Wagga, Wentworth.
The Victorian border bubble includes Alpine Valleys, Benalla, Bendigo, Buloke, Campaspe, East Gippsland, Gannawarra, Indigo, Loddon, Mildura, Moira, Shepparton, Swan Hill, Towong, Wangaratta, Wodonga, Yarriambiack.

The restriction means an Albury residents who travels to Narrandera or Sydney will not be allowed to cross into Wodonga for 14 days despite living in the border zone.
Similarly, Victorian bubble residents cannot return to their home state if they travel beyond the border.
For example if a Wodonga resident travelled to Byron Bay, they would not be allowed back into Victoria within 14 days of them being outside the border zone.
The Victorian Premier's department has repeatedly been asked by The Border Mail to clarify the exact restrictions on residents leaving the bubble and whether residents can travel beyond the bubble in Victoria, but have not provided any answers.
The department has again been approached for comment.
The Victorian cross-border commissioner is currently undertaking a review of the border bubble zone, with more announcements expected when the report is finalised.
