Corowa president Paul Lavis had a chance meeting with Test captain Tim Paine and gun batsmen Steve Smith and Marnus Labuschagne at a cricket equipment business in Melbourne last week and asked the trio to put a shout-out to the club.
In a short video the club scheduled on its Facebook site, Paine looks to the camera and says: "Good luck to everyone at Corowa Cricket Club this year, Marnus, Steve are barracking for you all", before Labuschagne gives the thumps up.
Lavis was buying a new cricket bat for his son Patrick.
"They came across and had a yarn," Lavis said.

"They were good, they were like little kids in Greg Chappell (Cricket Centre), it was amazing, off in their own little world, cricket nuffies."
