Braedon Kane Williams, 32, appeared in custody via video link in Wagga Wagga Local Court on Tuesday charged with 20 offences relating to the high-speed chase.
He did not apply for bail and was remanded in custody until Monday, January 11 to Albury Local Court.
The Murray River Police District operation involved police airwing, Polair, Albury Highway Patrol, and the Albury Proactive Crime Team.
Police said officers began pursuing a Holden sedan allegedly driven by Williams about 3.30pm Monday but were forced to stop the chase by car due to safety.
"The pursuit was terminated due to safety concerns; however, the Polair crew continued to follow the vehicle until it hit a brick wall in a residential driveway in the suburb of Glenroy in Albury, shortly before 6pm," police said in a statement.
"The driver allegedly ran from the vehicle but was arrested a short distance away.
"A bag containing methamphetamine, $500 cash and multiple driver's licences was recovered from the scene with a further $500 cash found when the man was searched."
EARLIER: A Glenroy man has been refused bail and will appear in court on Tuesday following a pursuit in the Albury area the previous day.

The man was taken to Albury Police Station where he has been charged with 20 offences: police pursuit - not stop - drive dangerously (two counts), drive recklessly/furiously or speed/manner dangerous, predatory driving, use etc offensive weapon to prevent lawful detention, destroy or damage property, negligent driving, drive motor vehicle during disqualification period (three counts), use class A vehicle with unauthorised number plate affixed (two counts), enter enclosed land without lawful excuse, refuse or fail to submit to taking of blood sample, supply prohibited drug, possess prohibited drug (two counts), knowingly deal with proceeds of crime, goods in personal custody suspected being stolen (two counts).
The Glenroy man has been refused bail to appear in Albury Local Court on Tuesday.
"Police continue to investigate reports of other vehicles being hit during the operation; anyone wishing to report an incident should call Albury Police or Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000," police said.
EARLIER: A man wanted for a string of offences has been arrested in dramatic scenes in Albury.
Albury officers spent much of Monday trying to take the man into custody.
He had reportedly been driving at high speed on the wrong side of the road while pursued by multiple police units around town.
Multiple cars narrowly avoided being hit.
The man, who appeared to be aged in his 30s, was taken into custody at a home on Burrows Road about 6pm.
The Holden VF Commodore appeared to have been forced to stop by an unmarked police vehicle on Regina Avenue while a police van was also damaged.

The man allegedly ran through multiple yards before being arrested at the Burrows Road home, about 50 metres away.
A large number of onlookers watched on as the man was cuffed and searched.
Specialist officers were involved in the arrest with at least a dozen police involved in the matter.
One witness posted on social media that the silver vehicle had hit an estimated 150km/h on the wrong side of Mate Street before travelling into North Street.
A large number of sirens could be heard in the area as police pursued the car.
The man is likely to face Albury Local Court on Tuesday on the matters he was wanted for and on fresh charges.
Police continue to investigate the matter.
The vehicles have been towed from the scene.
