Despite reports around the world that Tanya Roberts had died at the age of 65 - and confirmation from her representatives who sent out a press release - the actress is alive.
It has now emerged the actress is alive, according to her rep Mike Pingel, who had earlier issued the confirmation of her death.
TMZ reported on Sunday that Roberts had died after collapsing on Christmas Eve and being rushed to hospital and placed on a ventilator.
Ms Roberts' husband, Lance O'Brien, confirmed news of her death yesterday according to TMZ.
O'Brien called Pingel and told him she had passed away, with Pingel releasing the information to the public.
But TMZ says the hospital has today called O'Brien to confirm she is alive, with Pingel now forced to backtrack.
