A leading Cricket NSW official has lauded Cricket Albury-Wodonga's handling of two statewide competitions.

The Border hosted the three-day Bradman Cup (under 16s) and Country Colts (under 18s) carnivals, which serve as a feeder to the next level.
"The facilities you have here are top class," manager NSW pathways competitions Bruce Whitehouse said.
"The sides are delighted to get these facilities, the wickets, the outfields, it allows them to play the best cricket they can.
"And when you add that to (CAW chairman) Michael Erdeljac and his hard-working team, you can't beat it."

Long-term CAW boss Erdeljac is one of the sport's most indefatigable officials and he's needed to be as well with COVID-19 restrictions not allowing Wodonga to host games.
"The work done by the councils (Wodonga and Albury) and cricket bodies has been fantastic," Erdeljac praised.
