Mrs Hoodless was reappointed this week to the leadership position by Assistant Minister for Regional Development Nola Marino.
Ms Marino said Mrs Hoodless has seen the committee through the challenges of 2020 and will continue as chair until June 30, 2025.
"Mary has provided strong leadership for RDA Murray during her time as chair, having successfully steered the committee through the challenges of 2020 and, along with the members and staff, provided great support for the region's business community and future economic development," she said.
"Mary will lead RDA Murray under a refreshed charter that focuses their role on driving investment and local procurement opportunities and through this, creating jobs and economic growth for our regions.
"I look forward to working with Mary and the RDA Murray members and staff over the coming years and encourage the community to reach out to their RDA to discuss how it can help business succeed."
Mrs Hoodless has been on the RDA Murray committee since 2018 and brings a wealth of experience to the role of chair, including more than 35 years in management, project management and senior management positions in rural health services.
