New City's Indian import Shoaib Shaikh produced one of the most remarkable innings in recent years in the team's 31-run win over Belvoir on Saturday.
Shaikh posted an unbeaten 149 from 150 deliveries in the total of 7-197 - an incredible 76 percent of the runs.
The right-hander hit 10 boundaries and nine sixes and it's hard to recall a player who's struck more sixes in an innings at provincial level in the past 20 years.
It also saved the Phoenix's season as it now sits just nine points out of the top six.
