Warren Alan Forbes, 48, did not apply for bail following his arrest last week on two counts of break-and-enter with intent to commit a serious indictable offence.
Forbes was taken into custody at Sutherland Police Station near Sydney on Wednesday after allegedly breaking into a building in the outer suburb of Panania on September 5 last year.
It's alleged he was trying to access a cash machine in the building and was disturbed by police, who chased Forbes as he fled.
