Two players at opposite ends of their careers shared the limelight in a high quality top four match on Saturday.
Veteran Bob Jackson struck 87 in Wodonga's 6-238 and then in-form East Albury teen Coby Fitzsimmons compiled 80 as the Crows finished just short at 8-230.
There's 28 years difference, but the pair will have a major say in whether their teams win the grand final.
Jackson combined with another teenager in Michael Grohmann (35), while fellow youngsters Oliver Hollands and Will Ashton were on debut and playing their second game respectively.
