AUSTRALIAN rock legend Jimmy Barnes will top the bill for a special music event coming to Wahgunyah next week.
Barnes will be joined by Daryl Braithwaite and Deborah Conway on stage at All Saints Estate on Monday.
Mushroom Group and Visit Victoria will present 2021 Sounds Better Together, a series of COVIDSafe concerts across multiple metropolitan and regional venues from Saturday until January 30.
Having been inducted into the ARIA Hall of Fame twice, Barnes has sold more than 13 million albums, scored 17 #1 albums on the ARIA Charts, a feat not even matched by The Beatles.
For more than 40 years, Barnes has delivered iconic live performances featuring anthems the likes of Working Class Man, Flame Trees and No Second Prize.
Released in 2019, Barnes latest album, My Criminal Record, picked up on many of the themes in his books and spawned the hit singles, Shutting Down Our Town and I Won't Let You Down.
Barnes welcomed the new series of concerts.
"I get to take the stage with The Teskey Brothers, Daryl Braithwaite, Vika and Linda and more," he said.
"I love playing music and it always sounds so much better playing live in front of a Victorian audience. Bring it on!"
