The non-contact, modified version of the game for under 12s returned to Border pools last week, with participants introduced to water polo skills, movements and tactics.
Much loved Ovens and Murray water polo member Marg Moran was a pioneer for the junior development program.
After passing away last year, her legacy lives on with the league paying tribute to her contribution by naming the youngsters 'Marg's Minions.'

Her favourite colour purple has also been incorporated into their swimming caps.
Ray Bertazzo is working with FlippaBall participants this year.
Ovens and Murray water polo president Tom Hogan said kids are always welcome to join in the water.
"It's not so much a competition but more an introduction to the sport of water polo," he said.
"It's like anything with swimming, it's to build their confidence.
"Hopefully they take that into other things they do."
The program aims to be fun, inclusive, social and safe.
"Come put a cap on, have a swim and throw the ball around," Hogan said.
