Alec Theodore Wilson is facing 15 charges following the police audit of his Buckingham Street business, Wilson Arms.
Specialist licencing officers checked the property and allegedly discovered multiple record-keeping errors and several guns that were not accounted for.
Wilson also allegedly had unauthorised guns at the property.
As a result, all guns held by the dealership were seized by police officers following the September 2019 audit.
Wilson, 68, had his firearm dealership licence suspended as part of a lengthy investigation.
He was issued a future court attendance notice and had his matter listed before Albury Local Court earlier this week.
The case was adjourned and will return to the court on March 15.
He is facing 15 charges with documents released by the court showing the charges were issued by police last September.
The North Street resident is accused of failing to ensure records were sent to authorities.
IN OTHER NEWS:
One charge alleges that between October 23, 2018, and September 3, 2019, Wilson did not record the details of firearms transfers or sales between eight people or organisations.
It's alleged he had an unregistered .17 HRM rifle at the time of the audit, which he received from a Wodonga gun dealership.
It's alleged he also had a .22 rifle at the same time that was also unregistered.
It's alleged he did not ensure all transactions and dealings relating to firearms were recorded and sent to the registry.
Wilson allegedly failed to record details of a 50-calibre rifle sale from an unknown person, did not affix labels to weapons and failed to record the details of other sales.
The Buckingham Street business, which received council planning approval in October 2014, has since been converted into a roofing business.
Australian Security and Investment Commission checks show the company behind the gun business, Toys For Big Boys Ptd Ltd, remains registered.
But the Wilson Arms website has been removed from the internet.
