The fourth edition of the richest event on the PGA Australia Legends Tour will be held at Thurgoona Country Club Resort from October 29-31.
Last year's event was wiped out by COVID-19 and while officials were hoping to reschedule the event for early this year, it was just too difficult, given the number of events hosted by the governing body.
"COVID-19 impacted plenty of events last year and, sadly, the 2020 Senior Open was one of them," Golf NSW general manager of golf's Graeme Phillipson said.
"The City of Albury has really been behind this event since its inception back in 2017, and it's a thrill to know it will return."
The 54-hole event, which carried a prize purse of $120,000 in 2019, has attracted some of the sport's biggest names from the 1980s and 90s, like British Open winner Ian Baker-Finch and Peter Senior.
Meanwhile, Corowa will host a leg of the NSW Regional Open series next month.
The 36-hole tournament will boast a top field of 80 professionals and 40 amateurs, the latter requiring a handicap of 4.4 or less.
At least three previous winners of the New Zealand Open have entered, including Wodonga's Zach Murray.
Corowa is one of six $50,000 events across NSW.
IN OTHER NEWS:
The tournament will be held on Tuesday and Wednesday, February 16-17, with a pro-am on Monday, February 15.
Entries for the pro-am are available from Corowa's pro shop or the MDGA website.
