The event, which had been advertised on Facebook, was cancelled this week ahead of the planned rally on Australia Day at the Albury Botanic Gardens.
Organisers couldn't be contacted by The Border Mail on Friday but in a Facebook post apologised for the cancellation.
"Unfortunately we have had to cancel this event," the post said.
"We strongly encourage everyone gets along to one of the other events taking place around the country."

A small group of peaceful protesters gathered at Noreuil Park last year on Australia Day following the annual community event with banners reading "Not young, not free, no pride in genocide".
The group didn't disrupt the 2020 formalities but said Australia Day celebrated genocide.
The 2021 Facebook event said there were 21 people planning to attend from 10am on Tuesday.
It isn't known why the rally was cancelled.
