Missing suspended superstar Shoaib Shaikh, the Phoenix looked no chance against Albury, but grabbed a seven-run win.
Damian Cupido (46) and Corey McAlpin (36) pushed the total to 9-162.
The visitors were shot at 4-5, but captain Ross Dixon's 70 was superb as Josh Wright (3-20) and Steve Davies (3-24) restricted Albury to 155.
