Rand-Walbundrie-Walla has welcomed a familiar face back on board to steer them on the netball court.
Former Walbundrie netballer Sue Trethowan has been appointed A-grade coach for the Giants ahead of the upcoming Hume league season.
The multiple club best and fairest winner took a step back from netball after finishing her playing career close to seven years ago.
She has previously coached senior and junior teams and was a member of the netball committee for Walbundrie and Rand-Walbundrie.
Trethowan said the time felt right to join the Giants' ranks.
"I played for Walbundrie and Rand-Walbundrie for many years and it was something I wanted to do eventually," she said.
"I had a break from netball for a few years when I retired and just wanted to get back into it.
"I haven't been involved in netball for the last three or four years.
"This year seemed like the best opportunity to come back because I've been away long enough to miss it."

The club expects Trethowan's experience and knowledge of the game to be an asset in players' development.
The non-playing coach takes the reins from back-to-back Hume league best and fairest winner Jess Kotzur.
Kotzur was handed her first senior netball coaching appointment at the club in 2020, but did not get to see the season out after it was derailed by the COVID-19 pandemic.
The skilled defender is set to remain with the Giants in a playing capacity and has recently been leading the group in preseason fitness training.
Trials will begin for the club's netballers next week from February 2, with four sessions planned.
A preseason netball competition at Albury's J.C King Park is also on their agenda.
"People will be keen to get back into it," Trethowan said.
"Having a year off, I think there will be a lot that are really wanting to give it a good crack."
Rand-Walbundrie-Walla are still seeking netball coaches for their B, C and C-reserve sides.
The Giants are scheduled to take on Howlong for a round one clash in April when the Hume Football and Netball League season recommences.
Other round one matches will see Brock-Burrum take on Osborne, Lockhart meet CDHBU, Henty to host Murray Magpies, Culcairn and Jindera to clash and Holbrook to face reigning netball premiers Billabong Crows.
