Local Brian Bayley found there was a gap in Indigo Council's events calendar and began talks with a former publican of the Union Hotel in town.
"We nearly got there, but then he sold. So when Anthony [Keck] came along, he was open to having a bike show," Mr Bayley said.
"But it's turned into more than that - it's a community day, and because of the interesting year we've had, a chance to see each other."
Mr Keck took over the hotel in February last year.
"I really wanted to give something back to the community, because while we were in lockdown for a big part of last year, locals kept us going," he said.
"And the fact that a lot of our clientele on the weekends are motorbike riders, I thought it'd be great idea.
"Hopefully, it will encourage some tourism up this way and little towns like Tangamblanga will benefit from people not being able to go overseas."
The event will start at 11am with there being markets, music, and a motorbike show for all types of bikes.
While the pub is filling up for sit-in meals, there will be free icecream for the kids and the general store next door will be open and running food.
Mr Bayley said the public would pick winners in different categories of bikes, such as American or European, with the event to wrap-up at 3pm before live music at the pub.
"I've run my own motorbike rallies, but this is a first for me - we're keeping it simple," he said.
"I've been a member of the Royal Enfield Club since 2016, when I did a ride across Australia raising money.
"The club isn't that prolific here yet - it is in Sydney and in Melbourne - but we've got a Royal Enfield dealer in Albury now.
"Sunday is not about just Royal Enfields - any bike is welcome."
