The year Sarah Schmidt got her first bee hives, there was so much fruit in her orchard she didn't know what to do with it all.

She started keeping bees six years ago to help pollinate her Table Top farm; she began with four hives and is now up to 30.
Mrs Schmidt said beekeeping had become a very popular hobby with more and more people passionate about saving bees.
Locally, interest has grown to such a point a new beekeeping club has started up at Albury, and the fledgling club is set to host a Come and Try Day on February 21.
Experienced beekeepers will be on hand to answer questions and open hives, there will be honey to sample and buy, as well as other stall holders.
Mrs Schmidt said the aim was to foster a "buzzing beekeeping community".
"We are ready to welcome new members and this day is a chance to have really experienced beekeepers on hand to share their knowledge," she said.
Her particular interest is not in honey production but in breeding queens as there is such a widespread shortage.
And while learning how to keep bees could be "tricky" at times, Mrs Schmidt said they were endlessly fascinating creatures.
"When I get down to my apiary it's like I'm in my own little world and it's easy to while away the hours," she said.
"You need to move slowly and purposefully with bees; they can really respond to how you're feeling - and they don't really like rain."
As a hobbyist, Mrs Schmidt said there was no need to rush while she tended to the bees.
"I can take a glass of chardonnay down to the bee yard and just watch them working," she said.
"They are really mesmerising."
The Border region is no stranger to bringing bees into the spotlight.
In 2019 acclaimed songstress Toni Childs landed in Albury for a concert followed by a breakfast with beekeepers to help promote a worldwide campaign to protect our bee population.
During her Retrospective tour, she described bees as the "real rockstars" of the planet.
