The non-competitive 300 metre swim, three kilometre run and nine kilometre ride is now in its 11th year and will be held at Ebden Reserve on Sunday, February 14.
Money raised from the triathlon is usually donated to a community women's organisation, but due to late notice, this year's event is simply to unite Border women after a difficult year.
"It's just celebrating women surviving 2020," Mellor said.
ALSO IN SPORT:
"It's an opportunity for women to get out, have some fun and challenge themselves a little bit."
Due to COVID-19 restrictions the event is looking to attract around 150 competitors, with all abilities welcome.
More details about the triathlon and entry forms can be found on the Albury Wodonga Triathlon Club's Facebook page.
