Now in its fourth year, Arts Rutherglen will host the prize in the Rutherglen Memorial Hall from March 5 to 14.
Chief administrator Irena Webster said this event would be appreciated more than ever after a challenging 2020.
"We knew that it was so important for Arts Rutherglen to persist with preparation of the prize, for both the artists and the Rutherglen community," she said.

Judging is done on March 4, followed by the gala cocktail evening the next night at 6.30pm, when winners will be announced. The $7000 prize pool covers six categories: painting/mixed media, photography landscape, photography creative, work on paper, 3D small artworks and the youth award.
Artists can submit artworks until Friday.
The exhibition will be open from 10am to 4pm daily with bookings essential due to COVID requirements.
