Daniel Kuzeff is scheduled to be on next Sunday night's edition of the Prime7 program which involves contestants playing hazardous mini-golf holes for a golden putter and jacket.
He entered for the show after moving to Queensland in April and having his work, taking school students to the Philippines to build a village, halted due to COVID.
"I can say it was a lot of fun and I definitely will feature," Mr Kuzeff said of his performance which was filmed last spring.
The program was recorded at night with the outdoor course set up in suburban Brisbane, after being shipped from the US where the series was originally going to be staged before the coronavirus shutdown.
Mr Kuzeff said footage for the episode was gathered over multiple nights with recording running to 5am.
"It was a phenomenal experience and an absolute blast and backstage there was lots of energy and a lot of banter," he said.
In preparation, Mr Kuzeff was spending an hour a day on a putting green at his Gold Coast home as well as regularly playing a mini golf course as well as swinging a club at the Tallebudgera golf course.

"Somedays I was doing five to six hours a day," he said.
He had been due to return last June with a Yarrawonga school before COVID scuttled that plan.
