Injemira Beef Genetics sold a Hereford bull for $160,000 on Tuesday at their 50th annual production sale at the Book Book property, north of Holbrook in a new Herefords Australia record.

Injemira Redford J006 Q287 was bought by genetics group ABS in conjunction with Ardno Herefords and Vielum Pastoral Company.
"Many are expecting me to say it is the greatest sire ever produced at Injemira but I will leave that up to you to decide," the sale catalogue says about the bull.
"What I can say is that he is absolutely faultless in terms of structure and overall sire appeal."
