Corryong's Man From Snowy River Bush Festival, April 8-11, announced its camping and festival ticket were closed but organisers continued to work closely with the state government.
General manager Jennifer Boardman said this year's event aimed to keep crowd numbers under 4000 people instead of up to 7000 as seen past years.
Consequently, all the available tickets had now been sold.
"We have people that we've sadly disappointed because they've not made their purchases," she said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"There is a chance that things open up more over the next couple of weeks and we may reopen the gate sales again.
"We will be very happy to reopen sales should circumstances change."
"We're sorry to inconvenience people and we're doing the best we can under the current circumstances," Ms Boardman said.
"It's a very difficult time, it's really important that we comply and keep the community safe.
"We have a lot of faithful supporters and we don't want to disappoint them again because we've been through enough up this end of the world."
