The club feared it may have to cancel the highly anticipated function after Victoria's recent snap five-day lockdown.
However, Saints president Ian Wales said the planned visit of the man dubbed 'The Little Master' would go ahead as planned.
Ablett will attend the Saints' training session before speaking at a club function with former player Tim Cossor set to conduct a Q&A style interview with the dual Brownlow medalist.
He will also meet and greet members of the crowd before the interview.
Wales said there were still a handful of tickets remaining for anybody interested in attending the function.
"We have had a terrific response from the community and we are almost at our limit in regards to restrictions on crowds," Wales said.
"But there still are tickets available.
"Gary won't train with the players but will attend the training session and the players will get to meet him.
"After training we will hold the function and Gary will mingle with the crowd before taking to the stage to be interviewed by Tim Cossor.
"So there will be plenty of opportunity for whoever attends to have a moment in the sun with Gary whose record speaks for itself."
Ablett's father Gary Snr played one season for the Saints in 1983.
Ablett is also set to be the guest speaker at Albury Tigers' annual season launch on Friday to be held at Beer Deluxe.
