The competition's top six finals system means only the minor premier is safe from elimination next weekend.
Mount Beauty captain Daniel Saville is confident his side can get the job done having beaten Yackandandah the last three times.
"It's a great way to enter the finals series," Saville said.
ALSO IN SPORT:
"We've missed quite a few games and been washed out when others played (10 of 17 completed), but there's no better preparation with a great win against Kiewa last week and we're hoping to do the same again.
"It's almost like a mini finals series before the real thing.
"It was tough to gather momentum through the middle of the season, but we're happy with where we're at now."
Finalists Baranduda and Dederang meet, Kiewa faces Bethanga, while Barnawartha-Chiltern hosts Eskdale before its finals return.
