But yesterday he said there would be an individual approach.
"Albury Wodonga Health would like to clarify that there has been no policy recommending that staff take two to three days off work to recover from their COVID-19 vaccination," Mr Kalimnios said.
IN OTHER NEWS:
"Consideration will be made on a case-by-case basis, should staff experience side effects.
"The COVID-19 vaccination is safe and rarely has serious side effects.
"As with any vaccination, common side effects may include body aches, fever, and local pain at the injection site."
Meanwhile, the location of the service's Wodonga vaccination hub is expected to be revealed early next week.
