Wangaratta Rovers' new A-grade coach Noel Halton was pleased with his side's performance during a recent practice match against Mooroopna.
Rovers took on the Goulburn Valley League side in Shepparton, contesting six 10 minute quarters.
Katey Pryor, Millie Matthewson and captain Ash Martin were all standouts in the return to the court.
"What we saw was really positive," Halton said.
"The main focus was just to get everyone on the court to get some match play.
