Albury Cricket Club and Mitta and Jindera Football Clubs united at Albury's Billson Park to raise funds and awareness for the disease, with Mitta coming away with the Clock Tower Cup.
But the biggest victory came in the form of support shown for those in the community battling MS, such as Rhian Dower.
Jindera Football Club president Simon Cossor said support for the event was overwhelming, with many donating items for the auction.
ALSO IN SPORT:
"We were overwhelmed by the auction items people handed over to go up for grabs," he said.
"I think the big thing that came out of it is that Rhian and others with MS are starting a Facebook Page called MS Connect for the local community."
The clubs collaborated to form the event in support of the Dower family, as well others in the community battling similar challenges.
Awareness was the aim of the game.
"That was the big thing," Cossor said.
"It was just to open up people's eyes to see that this disease is around and these guys need support."
Cossor thanked everyone involved in the MS Awareness Cricket Day for making the event possible.
