Freemasons Victoria handed over the keys to the Myrtleford Masonic Centre on Friday completing the sale to support the local scouts group and those around the region into the future.
"The scouts were looking for a new home, and it's great to see a youthful community body carrying on the legacy," local Freemason Phillip Creek said.
"We're pleased that it's staying within our community."
Grand Master of Freemasons Victoria Richard Elkington officially handed over the keys to the building on Buffalo River Road to Myrtleford scouts, Alex and Will, together with Chief Commissioner of Scouts Victoria Rod Byrnes.
