Charges have been laid over an alleged Lavington motel break-in and theft as the victim slept.

NSW Police said about 4.30am on February 25, two men allegedly broke into a motel room on Wagga Road and stole personal belongings.
"It's alleged the items belonged to a 63-year-old man who is undergoing ongoing medical treatment and was asleep in the room at the time," police said in a statement.
After inquiries, a man, 25, was arrested at the same motel aout 5.45pm Monday and taken to Albury Police Station.
"He was charged with aggravated break and enter and two counts of obtain financial benefit by deception," police said.
"It's alleged the younger man used the older man's bank cards at numerous locations and withdrew $4000 from a nearby ATM."
The man was refused bail and was due to to appear in Albury Local Court on Tuesday.
Police are still looking for the second man.
