The country rock performer will launch her new single Better Settle Up at the Balldale Hotel on Friday night.
A regular at Burrumbuttock Hay Runners performers up north, Denham looked forward to her first foray into the southern Riverina.
"I've known about your area for a while through the Hay Runners; it will be nice to do a show at Balldale," she said.
The Blue Mountains-based entertainer said it was great to be back on the road after a year like no other for the entertainment sector amid the global pandemic.
Following her single launch at Balldale, Denham will head to the Mornington Country Music Festival and Road to Roma Country Music Festival over the weekend.
"I have three shows in three days in three different states," Denham said.
"That in itself would not have been possible last year."
At the Mornington Country Music Festival, Denham will perform alongside artists such as Kasey Chambers and Shannon Noll.
Denham said she was making up lost ground for her altered program last year.
"Last year was going to be my biggest year of touring ever," she said.
"I was a week off flying to the US for a performance when COVID hit."
Denham said she hunkered down last year, focused on writing new material.
"My last album was Calamity and the one before that Renegade; so I had to call the new album Wanted," she said.
"It's country rock with a western slant; I wanted to create a record that was a piece of art."
With her ability to tell a story that captures the imagination through her songs, Denham has scored four #1 smash hits in Australia, six Top 10 songs in the National Country Charts, 12 videos that have reached the Top 30, including a #1 placement for Hung Up on You, which got a million streams within six months of release.
Denham has been nominated for six Country Music Channel and Three Golden Guitar Award finalist placings.
She has released four albums Sudden Change in Weather (2008), Shake This Town (2010), Renegade (2013) and Calamity (2018).
The single, Chick Ute, from her debut album charted at #2 in Europe and Norway, #4 in Italy, #5 in the Netherlands and Denmark.
Denham won the Australian Independent Country Music Award for Best Rising Star soon after her first album release.
