The midfielder was appointed at the end of 2019 and became Melrose's youngest ever senior coach at just 22 years of age.
He coached round one last year before the AWFA season was ground to a halt by COVID-19 and was out of the role just days before the club's 2021 opener against Albury City on the weekend.

Senior players Shane Ellwood and captain Adam Waters were among the group who coached the squad for the clash.
Brosolo confirmed to The Border Mail he would not continue as senior coach at Melrose in 2021.
"I haven't got much to say on the matter except it wasn't my decision to step down," he said.
It wasn't my decision to step down. I'm 100 per cent not the coach and won't be coaching this year. As for leaving the club in its entirety, it's still up in the air but looking likely.

Brosolo said all options are open as to where he will play out the season.
He spent time at Melrose as a junior, but also had stints with Albury United and NPL outfit Murray United before he made his way back to Melrose and was signed as coach in his second season at the club.
Melrose didn't wish to comment until it had received official confirmation from Brosolo about whether or not he would remain at the club.
The men in purple reached consecutive cup semi-finals in 2017 and 2018 under former coach Kade Rixon and fell to eventual winners Myrtleford on both occasions, but have lost a number of experienced players in the past three years.
They finished eighth in 2019 and were eliminated by league and cup champions Wangaratta in the first week of the finals.
Albury United awaits Melrose in round two at Melrose Park on Sunday after the Greens fell 1-0 to Wangaratta in the opener.
