FROM the wilderness to the section one grand final.
That's been the story of the season for Holbrook and Jindera as they head into Saturday's Hume Country Tennis Association decider at Jindera.
Neither club has been able to field sides in the top grade in recent years before a spike in interest saw them bounce back strongly in 2020-21.
Holbrook, who finished on top of the ladder, has strong players in the women in Sally Bulle and Claire Young while James Starr and Jarrod Hibberson are leading the way in the men.
Jindera will be looking towards Brendan Burt, Erin Daley and Josh and Krystal Dicketts to mount a Bulldog charge.
It will be the first time Jindera's 12 new courts have been used in a grand final since being resurfaced 18 months.
Culcairn has the biggest representation with four teams playing in grand finals.
Matches start at 1pm with 6B earlier from 10am.
