Ridden by Tyler Schiller, Foxtrot Bravo was backed from $15 into $8.
The money proved right as the Kembla Grange-trained gelding scored a commanding victory by more than three lengths.
Foxtrot Bravo raced on the speed before Schiller hooked out to the middle of the track on the home turn.
The four-year-old gelding surged to the lead at the 200m mark and careered away for an easy win.
"Therese didn't want me to lead today but race on the speed with cover," Schiller said.
"The tempo was steady early but once he got cover he relaxed beautifully.
"They quickened from the 800m and I was happy to wait because I knew I was on the strongest stayer.
"He proved that at the 400m mark when I let him go to win easily."
