A swashbuckling half-century by Albury's Daniel Cassidy almost dragged the club to a famous win against North Albury.
Albury was struggling at 4-34, but a 39-run stand between Jerim Hayes (35) and Mahesh Kodamullage (22) started the revival and then Cassidy's 59 from only 52 balls, with six fours and three sixes, handed the visitors a total of 168.
Jake Burge was dynamic with 5-24.
The Hoppers were seemingly on the way at 1-90, but gun recruit Matt Condon's dismissal for 52 was part of a collapse of 4-13.
