Two Border hotels have been recognised with national awards.
Choice Hotels Asia-Pac has named Econo Lodge Border Gateway Wodonga as the Econo Lodge Hotel of the Year and recognised Quality Resort Siesta Albury among its top 25 performers.
"After a challenging year, especially being located on the border and adapting to the changing conditions, being recognised with this award really means a lot," Econo Lodge Border Gateway's Duncan McLaren said.

Choice Hotels Asia-Pac chief executive Trent Fraser said Quality Resort Siesta deserved recognition and celebration for "continuing to deliver exceptional service, despite the pressures of the pandemic on the tourism sector".

Quality Hotel Wangaratta Gateway were also among the list of winners.
