A fun day hosted by Snowy Hydro, Snowy Valleys Council and National Parks and Wildlife Service will be held from 10am to 2pm in the town centre.
Snowy Hydro's education team will lead activities for all ages including making snow, building a turbine and boring a tunnel.
A discovery ranger will share local Aboriginal culture, stories and practices and also the imaginative bush walk game.

There will be an interactive driver safety and fatigue stall and a bus to take visitors to the Murray 2 Power Station lookout for information sessions.
Among the live music acts are Wagga's Mollie Waters and Khancoban locals The Foxcrofts, plus acts by children from Khancoban Public School.
The school is putting on a barbecue lunch while Khancoban Roadhouse and new business Pickled Parrot Providore will be open.
The official welcome will take place at 10.30am near the Khancoban Visitor and Information Centre.
