Golden Horseshoes Festival, Beechworth, Saturday, April 3, and Sunday, April 4
The Rotary Club Market will run on Easter Saturday in Queen Victoria Park, featuring about 120 stalls: arts and crafts, food and drinks, jewellery, clothing and bric-a-brac. Cars from vintage, veteran and classic eras will line Camp Street on Easter Saturday as part of a show and shine. Echoing the story of Daniel Cameron and his horse shod with shoes of real gold, the annual highlight of the gold shoeing at 11.30am in the Camp Street Arena brings the legend to life. See the real Golden Horseshoes on display inside Beechworth Gold all Easter weekend. On Easter Sunday, an Easter Egg Treasure Hunt runs 10am to 12pm in front of Beechworth Gold.
