Contrast this with a seamless vaccination process in the St Patrick's hall in the Rural City of Wangaratta being managed by the Phillipson Street Clinic; friendly, welcoming and smiling staff who were there to assist anyone who struggled with paperwork or any interpretation of documents.

It was a delight to see nursing staff step up to help an elderly couple, one of whom was in a wheelchair, who personally took charge and assisted them to meet the medical practitioner.

So thank-you Phillipson Street Medical Clinic for your professional and caring approach. We are indeed fortunate to live in a regional area where the needs of people are placed first before systems.

If I was the Minister for Health I would be appalled at what was published and highlighted on the front page of The Age.

Recently, truckloads of hay from our productive Greater Hume Shire were sent to flooded areas near Taree. This is what our productive area is renowned for, helping others in need.

It is extremely frustrating that the Department of Planning, Industry and Environment and the Independent Planning Commission haven't listened to many submissions to put large solar projects on non-productive land. Walla Walla, Jindera and Culcairn projects are approved.

Walla Walla: 605 hectares 700,000 solar panels; Jindera: 521 hectares 390,500 solar panels; Culcairn: 1039 hectares 900,000 solar panels. Compare this with Winton: 250 hectares 253,000 solar panels. More large scale projects in Australia are planned.

A stop and review needs to be done. What happens to all these panels? Is large scale solar needed? Roof top solar is growing. Let us keep our agriculture land.

Since when has the Prime Minister been responsible for all the actions within Parliament House? With a work force of approximately 4000 within its walls I would be surprised if the Prime Minister knows more than a couple of hundred. If you follow the logic the press portray, all mayors in Australia are responsible for the actions of people living in council areas.

From my experience the human resources in most organisations are out of touch with the work force as they are too busy pleasing the senior management. My interpretation is to call them the human cattle department, as that is how out of touch they have become.

Wish the press would spend time being investigation reporters and then reporting the whole story, not sanitise it to suit their political leanings. Allowing the treatment of Nicolle Flint during the last election campaign without calling it out for what it was is a disgrace. All we will end up with is poor quality politicians, as the above treatment will deter good quality people to stand.

Many years ago, someone told me you put a dog up in some safe electorates as the quality of the sitting member is so poor. Do not think anything has changed.

Think the recent elections in WA and Queensland shows the quality of the opposition is poor, which does not lend well for the future.

Some of the premiers' decisions towards Australian citizens recently have been a disgrace, but rewarded by the voters. This is not the Australia I used to know and love.
