Roos was sensational in the five-point loss against Albury, seemingly bobbing up everywhere to keep his team in the match.
It was nothing for Roos to rack up a handful of possesions in the one movement, but they weren't easy gets, receiving a kick behind the play.
Rather, he can both win the ball through his own grunt work and is then clever enough to set up an attacking opportunity by foot.
"He's a smooth mover, he's got a lot of direction and a lot of voice on the ground because over the years we have lacked leadership, so to have him, Sam Murray, Matt Jones, they're like on-field coaches," team-mate Sam Carpenter revealed.
