Officers from the Riverina Police District's Tumut station were patrolling Blowering Dam as part of Operation Armada on Saturday when they allegedly stopped a 38-year-old woman on the water for a random breath test.
IN OTHER NEWS:
Police allege the woman, who was operating a personal watercraft vessel with two children on board, returned a positive result and will be issued a court attendance notice.
Operation Armada is focusing on marine safety and compliance with hopes of reducing boating accidents and fatalities both in coastal regions and inland waterways.
